My first and overriding question for the future of Spectra and it's
integration into CF6/Neo is which of the 500 or so cfa tags will be
_rolled_ into the release and which will remain as external custom tags.
Also, what will be the upgrade possibilities for sites using Spectra 1.x.
No doubt these and many more questions will be answered when the community
source site is published and the first betas of CF6/Neo are released. I for
one would like to have a bit more information from Macromedia on when the
community source site is going live, and how fully the current cfa tags
will be embedded into CF6/Neo. It has been almost 2 months since the
announcement was made public and there has been precious little solid
information.
Can anyone at Macromedia disclose some further information on any of the
above, or do we just have to sit on our hands and be patient?
