It's not really about supporting bigger apps, it's about having a community site to which people can post things which they may or may not want to charge people for, and to which people can post comments on uploaded tools. It may be worth suggesting this to the DevEx people as an across the board improvement for the site. There's simply too much in there to find many of the good tools that people have written. Currently it is little more than a file search and download facility with a description thrown in. Having the ability to comment on components and access to reviews would be a real bonus. Having a peer ratings system for components would also be good. Simply because something has been downloaded 1000 times doesn't make it a good component. Usually the decision to download is based on the description and that is not always accurate. I'm thinking aloud here... erm, better make that thinking as I type, so I'll mull it over for a bit before I mail the DevEx team. Does anyone else have opinions on the DevEx?
