I shouldn't be so flippant.  The mod is unlikely to be simplicity itself as
searching a specific content type can involve multiple collections as
collections are built by property.  But nevertheless a mod to spectra is
required i believe.

Unlike the last time, this OEM version allows you to just point at the full
version and get things working.  You may not get the full verity features
(without some playing around) but you can certainly get what you see in CF
working on the full Verity.  The distributed computing options are the most
obvious advantage.

The K2 Engine is simple to use and probably worth the trouble if you are
performing regular searches on Verity.  The docs are not great - in most
instances they appear to be a poor re-write of the Verity documentation.
But the truth is out there.  I'm putting together a general K2 talk for
CFUG.. I'll see if I can't distill that into a simple document that
addresses issues in Spectra.
