Hi.
We are having some problems with ColdFusion restarting itself on Solaris.
The restarts are quite easy to reproduce:-
load the webtop
click a link on the left-hand menu
then, *before the right-hand page comes up* click another link
The server.log then displays the following
"Error","12","09/20/01","09:44:56",,"Unable to write reply -- client
browser stopped waiting for request. "
"Information","1","09/20/01","09:44:59",,"The ColdFusion Application
Server started."
This is extremely frustrating and I wonder if this is a known problem
and/or if there is a fix.
We are using Spectra 1.5.1 with the latest updates from
spectrasource.macromedia.com, CF5 on Solaris 8 with Apache 1.3.9.
It looks to be related somehow to the interaction between the webserver
and coldfusion; I can't remember seeing this phenomenon when we were using
another webserver and running CF in CGI mode.
