Pat, Re: 2
a) We are a community and we keep growing the code base to our needs, so the Spectra codebase isn't _completely_ dropped. b) The next version of ColdFusion (Neo) will be able to run Spectra. c) Neo will have Spectra-like functionality built in and Macromedia is interested in offering CMS-like tools if the market will pay out. d) Object-like application frameworks for CMS are the way to go. (IMHO) So overall Spectra is a pretty good choice if you can get past the Advanced Security Installation. :) Hope that helps, allen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/spectra_talk or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
