eWebEditPro >=2.0 includes a spell check option if your client have
microsoft office installed. then it will spell check the text with all
features from microsoft office (i.e. language detection, complete
dictionary, word variants and word suggestion, add to dictionary, ...).
the corresponding lines in the config.xml from eWebEditPro
<menu name="editbar" newRow="false" showButtonsCaptions="false" wrap
="false">
<caption localeRef="mnuEdit"/>
[...]
<bar/>
<button command="cmdspellcheck"/>
<button command="cmdspellayt"/>
[...]
This displays the buttons for spell checking on demand (by clicking on the
corresponding button) and spell check "as you type" -- with the red snake
line below not recognized words.
Works fine for us but requires microsoft word (which isn't unusual on many
windows pc's).
