I believe CF Studio 4.5 came with both a single user development
CF-server and a single user development Spectra license.
Don't know if that's still the same for Studio 5

Subject: development licenses? (was: Clustered ColdFusion Servers for
Spectra)

I have a question about this comment that you don't need a license for a
development box... where did you see this? I am trying to find out if
there is any truth to this and the only thing i can find is the
following passage from one of the Spectra FAQ's on the Macromedia
site...

-----
(from: http://www.macromedia.com/software/spectra/productinfo/faq/)

What hardware and software is required?
On the software front, an Macromedia Spectra license, along with a
ColdFusion Enterprise Server license is required (version 4.0.1 and
later). The number of licenses is based on the number of servers your
company plans on having in use. For instance, you may choose to
configure a development server, a testing server, and a production
server. In this case, you would be required to purchase three licenses
each of ColdFusion Enterprise Server along with three licenses of
Macromedia Spectra.

This definately implies a need for multiple licenses. Can anyone clarify
this?

Thanks,
Sarah.
