:-) Hi Finn,

Sorry, thats all I can say as its all I know as of yet! However, you
should not see Spectra 1.5.2 as an upgrade to Spectra 1.5.1 - there are
no feature additive releases, only the removal of Siteminder. Remember
I do not work for Macromedia : like Spike at your company, we are both
Team Macromedia members - not employees.

I have asked MM too, but nothing yet (I have even asked the Product
Manager), but like anything they are being tight-lipped about it... I am
sure something will be posted in due course.

Clark,

Would you agree if i would say that these answers are not realy
something
that i can tell my customers.
" Dear customer we are going to upgrade you in q4, as far as we
know...." It
would really make a difference if macromedia would release some kind of
statement. Be open... if they are not planning to do anything... okay...
but
at least... we can tell the customer something... instead of ....
well....
AFAIK.....

Get my point?

Finn

>> * Make Spectra work under ColdFusion MX without siteminder

Yes

>> * Reprogramming of the code to use ColdFusion Components.

AFAIK, yes as CFC's were alledgedly born from the redevelopment of
Spectra.

>> * Q4 2002.

Again, yes AFAIK

What I understand that the 1.5.2 upgrade will do is:
.

What I had _hoped_ would be covered (because it would make Spectra
cool again) but I understand won't be is:

Release date:

Is this correct?

Many thanks,
