I would love to test stuff like this but my freaking CFMX fails to start on EVERYBOOT, it has to be switched on manually!

Runs up to 21% faster than running Spectra 1.5.2 on CF5 (42% faster using the IBM VM!) 2. Developers can use CFMX features to extend Spectra apps - CFCs, XML parsing, Flash Remoting, etc. 3. Gets rid of the SiteMinder dependency -----Original Message----- From: Raymond Camden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, December 13, 2002 9:09 AM To: Spectra-Talk Subject: RE: [RE: Spectra 1.5.2 is ready] install question > > Does that mean that you can install Spectra 1.5.2 on CF5? Yes! And if it sounds like you can't on the site, let Macromedia know, because certainly they did NOT mean to make it seem like that. > Or can you install 1.5 on CFMX? No. Well - it may actually install, but I wouldn't/ > If neither of those is true, then you have the extra headache > of upgrading from CF5 to CFMX where any number of things > could go wrong. > You don't have to go to MX if you don't want. I think you should, of course, because I see the benefits of CFMX as _far_ outweighing the benefits, but of course, even now that I'm gone from MACR I'm still very biased. ;) ======================================================================= Raymond Camden, ColdFusion Jedi Master for Mindseye, Inc Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW : www.camdenfamily.com/morpheus Yahoo IM : morpheus "My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is." - Yoda ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/spectra_talk or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
