Actually, I believe the migration path from Spectra over to CommonSpot-based custom objects shouldn't be that difficult...CommonSpot uses a fairly simple table/xml representation scheme for their objects, and pulling the data from Spectra is pretty simple.

We're very happy with it, and we do a lot of CommonSpot work for our customers. However, the real sticking point in a CMS migration is your data, not the code. No matter what you migrate to, you're going to have to figure out a way to get your data from one format to another, and that's not a trivial process.
