are you doing anything in Ciscoworks that requires the snmp rw string ? some of the rme jobs require snmp rw.

It will work with Spectrum. It seems to be a Cisco Works Problem. Did you change the community which is used by Cisco Works? We had this problem after changing communities. We had to reinitialize Cisco Works DFM Database. On each router, we have two snmp communities set: 1-Read/Write also configured in the model in spectrum 2-Read only used in CiscoWorks We are continuously getting an authentication alarm sourced from the CiscoWorks host and we are sure that the CiscoWork Snmp community is set correctly on ciscoworks. It does not seem that I can configure two communities for the model in spectrum... Did anyone face this? Any ideas what would be causing this?
