Im starting to use NCM on version 8.1.

I get an error saying that "The operation completed but SS was unable to open
the transfer file".

I cant see the captured file under the host configuration tab, probably due to
the error mess.

The export to txt file does not work either.

The config is captured and placed under the tftp folder by the name
SCM_0x403540.

Anyone knowing what the problem is, or what I have missed.

Regards
Jan-Erik

I started getting occasional "Authorization Failure" traps from our Cisco
switches some time back. Says the SpectroSERVER is the cause. Haven't had time
to track it down.

We're having an interesting issue where between 1:00AM and 3:00AM in the
morning, we're getting about 40 "Authorization Failure" trap alarms from
our APC power supplies showing up in Spectrum, and it's the
SpectroServer that's causing them. I can't seem to track down what might
be causing this action, as they are not having configs pulled down by
NCM, and I can't think of any other process that might try to use a
different community string to poll them. Has anyone ever had anything
similar happen?
