Hi List , I was using Spectrum 9.0 SP1 .I had created 5-6 global collections which were dynamic like collect all the routers having critical alarms etc .By default the minimum update interval for global collection looks to be around 1 hour for update .I reduced the interval by modifying the dynamic update interval for the collections to around 1 minute. After few days I had a spectroserver crash where the application terminated abnormally .(Repeated 2-3 times after restarting) I checked the spectroserver CPU performance and it showed to be high .This spectroserver terminated number of times after restart .So then I reduced the Global collection update interval to default minimum 1 hour and also now updated to latest Hotfix3 . Do you think that keeping the dynamic update interval small has any problems ?
One more question.Creating a dynamic global collection with combinations of criteria like all Routers having Major alarm and Critical alarm doesnt seem to work using AND /OR combinations .Only One criteria seems to work but the same works ok when using global collection searches?
