Pablo,
Link status traps are set up per port (at least on cisco devices). E.g., .
IOS
Link up/down traps are enabled by default.
To disable traps at interface level:
"no snmp trap link-status"
CatOS
Link up/down traps are disabled by default.
To enable traps on ports:
"set port trap mod/port enable"
Regards,
Joe

Stephen,
I don't want receive notifications of all interfaces, just one or two by
Switch, is this possible?. By the way, Spectrum Can't check the values
ifLastChanged or ifOperStatus?.
Best Regards,
Pablo Vicencio Diaz.

Pablo
Set up your devices to send link down traps to Spectrum. Spectrum will then
know about the link going down no matter how short the outage.
Regards
Stephen.

Subject: [spectrum] Bad Link Status
Hi list,
When Spectrum notify one "Bad Link Detected" Alarm?. On the past night we have
one event of unavailability in one interface, but Spectrum Don't detect this
Bad Link. The period of Unavailability is of 3 Seconds and the polling of
Spectrum is 30 Secs.
Unavailable Period (3 Sec).
FirstPoll
This is an Example:
Well, in this scenario Spectrum Don't present any alarm and the Object
IfLastChaged is reset. The Question is, why Spectrum Don't alarm this event?
