I have just started to work with Network Configuration Manager (NCM). In order to be able to get the configuration for a device, that device needs to have configured NCM_TFTP_Host attribute with the IP of the machine running the TFTP server. The problem is: I have a fairly large number of devices and doing this attribute setup by hand (one-by-one) is not a good option. I have tried to have all the devices selected and to modify the attribute value; it doesn't work, once I have more than 1 device selected, editing the attribute value becomes impossible. I suppose this might be done via a script but unfortunately I have no idea about the script's structure; can anyone please help me with this? Another issue with NCM is: I get several errors when trying to capture a device configuration and Spectrum Doc about NCM doesn't give any explanation for these error messages. That's it, 2 identical devices, with the same firmware version, NCM attributes set identically will show different behaviour; one will get the configuration but the other one will give errors like: - Error capturing configuration for host: Failure - Error capturing configuration for host: Illegal parameter value It's kinda strange because many of these devices had the configuration captured successfully in Spectrum 8.1 (I'm running Spectrum 9.1 on Windows) Thank you, Regards, Eugen NAIMAN CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE AND DISCLAIMER The information in this transmission may be confidential and/or protected by legal professional privilege, and is intended only for the person or persons to whom it is addressed.
