Hello Spectrum list,

I would like to install Spectrum r9.1 on a Red Hat EL r5.1 server (64bits), but
when I run the installer, it fails!

I know that Spectrum could be installed and run on 64-bit OS server although it
will run only as a 32-bit applicationit (Solution ID: TS29305)

First, I tried to install Spectrum r9.0 and then happened:

# ./installer

./setuplin.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

Next, I installed the 64bits RPM packages, "libXp-1.0.0-8.1.el5" and
"openmotif-2.3.0-0.3.el5", in which are included the libraries.I checked that
the library was installed in the directory "/usr/lib64/". Then, I run again the
installer and a new error appear:
# ./installer

./setuplin.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: wrong ELF
class: ELFCLASS64

I tested to create a symbolic link, to install the 32bits libraries... but
nothing works!

Finally, I ran manually the following commands,
"<cdrom>/sdic/linux/srainstall.bin" and "<cdrom>/linux/install.bin" and the
installation of Spectrum 9.0 was completed sucessfully.

After that, I would like to upgrade Spectrum to r9.1, but when I ran the file
"Spectrum.09.01.00.00.Linux.txe", at the end, the same error appears,
"./setuplin.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory".

Does anybody have an idea about what is happening??? Have anybody installed
Spectrum r9.1 on a Red Hat server???

Thanks a lot!!!

Best regards,
Joserra.
