Hi Steve, list, we've the whole "SS/CsVendor" and "SG-Support" folders managed by our version control system. In order to get all files (and their history) at a new server we simply checkout the folders and are done.
..but for sure you could copy the folders to your new server and have the same effect. At least with 9.0 you can leave all files of the mentioned folders as-is and put your customizations in corresponding AlertMap and EventDisp files at "<specroot>/custom/Events/". Event files go to "<specroot>/custom/Events/CsEvFormat/", Prob files to "<specroot>/custom/Events/CsPCause/".
