Currently migrating Spectrum from Solaris to the Windows 2008. Have been using and customising Spectrum on Solaris for around 8 years so highly technical answer are most welcome.
My general questions are what process do people use to shutdown the spectroserver CLEANLY on server restart in the Windows environment? what process do people use to startup the spectroserver CLEANLY on server startup in the Windows environment? Under solaris we have our own custom script that runs via the init.d process. Would like to know whats the common method under Windows. Also am having a problem that the spectroserver never teminates properly when windows server restarts.
