There are some pre-requisites for that to work. On Juniper devices, they must support the 'JUNOS Real Time Performance Monitor' MIB and you need to have r/w community access on the device to be able to perform SPM tests. Note that 'most routing devices' might not support creating and doing the tests, so check first if the device is able to do it.
