We¹re running a mixed environment, though not quite how you described. We¹re using Sun servers for all the ³heavy lifting² and Linux VMs for everything else. Specifically, we have two landscapes made of two Sun servers each that handle all of the models. We have one more landscape made of two Linux VMs just for forwarding traps. Finally we have two OC servers and one SRM server, all Linux VMs as well. So far, we have not encountered any issues as a result of the different platforms.
