For the MIB database, you just copy the files from $SPECROOT/MibDatabase over to the new OneClick server, and then run this Bash command:
$SPECROOT/MibDatabase/scripts/BulkMibCompile.sh -d $SPECROOT/MibDatabase -skip_search That command line is pasted here from a helper document that I wrote for a customer ~2 years ago, but it came from the Spectrum manuals... search the index for BulkMibCompile.sh HTH, --Mark S ________________________________ Mark Serencha - Inforonics LLC - (m) +1-781-439-0519 - [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> - ** Inforonics acquires Vigilant Enterprise Solutions ** <blocked::http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/home/permalink/?ndmVie wId=news_view&newsId=20090818005912&newsLang=en> From: Curtis Kellogg [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, February 18, 2010 1:39 PM To: spectrum Subject: [spectrum] Windows 2008 with Spectrum 9.1.2 Hello spectrum users, I am running Spectrum 9.1.2 on windows 2003 and will be replacing our hardware and upgrading to windows 2008 . Has anyone else migrated spectrum to new hardware and OS ? It appears that Spectrum supports 2008 but Report manager does not. Has anyone tried Report Manager on 2008 yet ?. I have separate One Click servers and know that the mib database resides on them. I cannot seem to find any documentation on how to migrate the mib database. Can any one point me to the right documentation for this ?
