We had the same issues on Red Hat, the server was constantly crashing with heap errors, just about daily. Version 9.01.03.13.22 (RedHat server) fixed this.
At CA world I was told these fixes didn't make it into the first release of 9.2 and I should wait until the 9.2.1 release if they were important to me. Our servers are now very stable, so they must have figured it out, at least on RedHat.
