I am currently deploying the CA trapexploder (1.6 Patchlevel 2) on windows cluster as well on standalone server located on DR site. All network devices as well as servers are configured to send traps to trapexploder cluster as well as DR cluster. Trapexploder on cluster forward traps to dev, QA & production spectrum servers.
I have created scripts on spectrum servers which basically start the trapexploder on DR server if cluster become unavailable or trapexploder service on cluster died.
