Hi,

Maybe problem is not idb. Maybe it's a Notifier problem. Have you try
to start Notifier from the shell?
As a spectrum user
$SPECROOT/AlarmNotifier/Notifier
Do you get error messages?

Then try to start it as a processd ticket:
$SPECROOT/bin/launchinstdbapp localhost NOTIFIER y NOTIFIER.OUT

Have a look at NOTIFIER.OUT.
