Per the Spectrum AlarmNotifier User Guide - Starting AlarmNotifier with
the Process Daemon - Reference on Page 13 and the note on the bottom of
that section Page 14:

Starting AlarmNotifier with the Process Daemon

You can automate the startup of AlarmNotifier by allowing the process
daemon (processd), CA Spectrum's process launching and tracking daemon,
to launch AlarmNotifier as a part of the CA Spectrum startup process.

Note: The SpectroSERVER must be running before AlarmNotifier can start.
Therefore, it is important that the STARTPRIORITY parameter be set to
30, indicating that AlarmNotifier is dependent upon the SpectroSERVER.

Does anybody know why alarmnotifier does not start automatically with
processd in windows 2008, and how resolve this?

Best Regards,
