Mark, Instead of push from Spectrum using synchronized discovery, you can try a pull from eHealth remote poller, to respective spectrum server using nhDiscover command with -spectrum option and put it as a scheduled job in eHealth.
I have not tried that approach from a remote poller, however I do not see any reason why it would not work (as long as you have nhSpectrumSetup available on remote poller). HTH.
