Alexander, Thanks for sending these sample files. We found that on our development servers snmpmibd daemon was not running and starting that resolved most of the problems, except (I know there is always an exception) when trying to change SNMP read-only community from public to anything else, the agent starts throwing out error messages in the snmpdv3 logs (weird). Have you tried to changing community stings and has that worked for you?

We have few AIX 6.1 servers running the AIX Snmp agent which comes with the box. We have been trying to configure the snmpd.conf and snmpdv3.conf on the server, however we are unable to get response in the enterprises mib structure and also partially get response from the mib-2 as follows. Can someone please share sample configuration file if they are using AIX SNMP agent.
