Folks,

Our VIP on F5 LB was configured to pass IP address of the originating host.
Support investigated and released a ptf Spectrum_09.02.02.PTF_H0915, for this
issue to me as OneClick was not reading the Xforward value.

If you are using a F5 BIGIP device, there's some advice here for configuring
XForward.

Subject: [spectrum] OneClick - VIP - Xforward

Hello folks,

We have two oneclick servers on RHEL 5 and Spectrum 9.2.2.H09 and recently we
put them behind a VIP on F5 BigIP load balance to distribute users in our
environment.

Since then when I see the client details page, the Hostname for users come as
the name of the F5 and Host Address as the IP for the F5 (not the VIP). If the
users directly connect to the oneclick, its like old days.

Our F5 administrator was telling me that they do SNAT on load balancer and
hence the I am seeing this behavior. He also told me that he can do XForward
logging, and "XForward value can be put into the HTTP header which is the IP
address of the originating hosts."

Does anyone know if OneClick supports or can be configured to read XForward
value to display correct information?

Thanks,
