Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: FOUO We have a need to remove the FQDN from our model names.
I was thinking about just writing a script to do this but was wondering if somebody has already done this. I simply need to remove everything except the first field in the FQDN. Ex. ROUTER1.acme.com >> becomes >> ROUTER1 Before I begin my script, does anybody have any suggestions? Or scripts they've already written? Michael S.
