Any normal Rubik's brand cube you can buy at a store these days that has relatively even tension on the sides will be a great cube if you're willing to wear it in enough.
The only cube I've had for good speedcubing was tight and terrible out of the package. I played with it for a few weeks before lubing it, doing a lot of grinding solves. Then, I slipped plastic butter knives under the faces to loosen the tension on a few sides. More grinding solves. Then lube. Lots and lots of lube. I use silicon spray, but your preference may vary. Several people at Orlando commented on how loose and nice my cube was. Best $8 I ever spent. -Mike P.S. Anyone need tips on making a nice loose 4x4? ;) ------------------------ Yahoo!
