Hi Gilles,
A good point Gilles.  The way things are at the moment there are alternative 
algorithms in step 1 that will kick other middle layer edges down into the 
last layer.  That takes care of all the cases except the one where all the 
middle layer edges start in the middle layer but jumbled.  The reason I 
haven't spent time on this is because practically I do L2L2 and use other 
tricks instead of F2l pairs to make sure it doesn't happen.
Its been a year since I first put up my website though so I am running out 
of excuses!  If the method is ever going to be as practical as other fast 
strategies like your own, Fridrich and Petrus for example I need to upgrade 
the website and make sure it copes with every case.  When I do this I will 
make sure that the most optimal (L2L3) solution goes up too.
