That looks very nice! I must admit first I thought I had done this before, because your explanation sounded similar to what I've been doing: L2 (LM)2', Also pulling with my left middle finger, putting it on the FU sticker after the L2. This way my right hand stays fixed and only does the U's while the left hand does all the other turns.
