wow, thanks for the quick answers guys.
Im not sure if my amateur method would benefit from 15 seconds study
time, Im not good enough to think moves in advance. I just pick it up
and start making the top layer immediately, without giving much
thought as to what i'll be doing after that bit is done :)
I'll try and find out a bit more about what hes doing, he just looks
at it while holding his fingers on the cube in fixed locations while
looking all around the cube, then he'll move his fingers and look for
another 5 seconds, and so on, until eventually he just starts twisting.
