First question : what is your main goal : having a working linux setup or
a working win2k setup?

I think that the best answer is : try yourself! As Tony manage to get a
working linux-smp setup, so it should possible for you too!

I'm interested if someone has the answer! Apparently there are known
problems with some VIA controller (Great, I've one at home!)... Is there
someone out there who can tell us "all about USB" ?
