Edit the makefile in /usr/src/linux to point to /boot ie

export  INSTALL_PATH=/boot

compile the kernel etc as you would normally do and instead of make bzImage
do a make bzlilo.  This is easier than having to copy the kermel and system
map to the boot dir.
