Check the syslog (/var/log/messages) for CRC-errors. If there are
lots of them, try this:
- use the new speedtouch-1.2-beta1 driver which has
the buggy software buffering disabled by default
- use the linux mgmt.o instead of the alcaudsl.sys
- use pppoa3 instead of pppoa2
- leave out the "-v 2"-option (maybe logging slows down things)
