Hi, I'm writing from Linux 2.5.62. I had a couple of problems getting
things up and running, although in the end, it was much the same as
2.4.
First problem was getting all the modules loaded properly, but this is
already documented.
o I needed to load "uhci_hcd" which is the new name for the previous
"new" uhci driver, usb-uhci (old "uhci" crashes my machine instantly)
o remember to load the usual n_hdlc, the ppp_*, pppoatm, modules
o obviously I needed the new module-init-tools (using 0.9.9)
Now, the "modem_run" from speedtouch 1.0 is not able to find my modem in
/proc/bus/usb/ under 2.5. So I had to do :
modem_run -d /proc/bus/usb/001/002 -f /etc/mgmt.o -s -m
[The reason I am using speedtouch 1.0's modem_run is that any other
version of modem_run fails miserably, giving bulk timeouts :

After this, things seem to be working fine.
Hope this helps somebody else. I'm not using 2.5 yet, since I can't send
any sound of ALSA, but I'll have to move someday :)
