Did you think the modem could be reset if the usb bus power supply were
insufficient? I'm very puzzled because i was sure that USB support of intel
mainboard worked pretty good. This machine has a supply which delivers in
maximum 110 W only (but the processor is "only" a pentium2 266 downclocked at
233 Mhz), i'm not sure that it's enough.
