If it's any use:

usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x5 len 991 ret -110
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x85 len 512 ret -110
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x5 len 991 ret -110
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x85 len 512 ret -110
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x5 len 991 ret -110
usb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:07.2-2 address 2

Is what I get when I try and load ZZZLP2.eni by issuing:

# modem_run -f ZZZLP2.eni

This is with my silver REV_0400.
