Greetings to the list, I have an Alcatel/Thompson Speedtouch 530 ADSL modem which has one ethernet port and one USB port.
I have been trying for the last two days to try and get this to work using the USB port on Debian Sarge using this howto without success. http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/docs/sargehowto.html I have only just subscribed and wasn't able to see a definitive answer on this list, my apologies if it has already been answered somewhere else. I can easily get this working using the ethernet port but I need to have this on a Wireless network as well which would necessitate 3 network cards in the gateway, something I would like to avoid if possible.
