How about: "make modules" ... wait .. ctrl-c. It's been a while since I
had anything to do with 2.4 kernels, sorry. Also, how about sending the
exact error messages you get. An easy way to do this is using script:
type the command
script
then do your stuff. When finished, hit ctrl-D. Everything is recorded
in the file typescript.
