Hello, A few days ago, I asked about my problems using my speedtouch 330.
Now I'm able to connect, but the process is a bit strange. Here is what I do (it may be usefull to someone else, ...) : Unplug the modem (if it's plugged, of course). perform the following commands as root : ipcrm -S 0xdeadbeef modprobe -r speedtch modem_run -v 2 -f /usr/share/speedtouch/ZZZL_3.012 pppd call adsl & The first one sometimes gives an error (invalid key) but the process is still ok. I have a few questions : Why are the two first commands necessary ? How can I do that without being root (I don't want everybody at home to have root passwd) ? How can I be connected at boot ?
