I'm sorry friends, I'm overlooked some messages in /var/log/messages: Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: Plugin pppoatm.so loaded. Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: PPPoATM plugin_init Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: PPPoATM setdevname_pppoatm - SUCCESS:8.48 Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: pppd 2.4.2 started by root, uid 0 Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: Using interface ppp0 Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: can't open routing table /proc/net/route: Permission denied Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: local IP address 10.112.112.112 Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: remote IP address 10.112.112.113 Jun 28 16:27:01 localhost pppd[1652]: Starting link Jun 28 16:27:01 localhost pppd[1652]: Connect: ppp0 <--> 8.48 Jun 28 16:27:01 localhost pppd[1652]: Couldn't increase MTU to 1500. I think, that following line may be problem, isn't it?: Jun 28 16:26:58 localhost pppd[1652]: can't open routing table /proc/net/route: Permission denied > It would be helpful to turn on pppd debug messages. So, when I add DEBUG=yes into /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ppp0, there are no pppd messages in /var/log/messages. Is it problem? or debug messages are in other file? > > Are you sure 8.48 is correct for your ISP? Yes, I'm sure, that username, password, VPI and VCI are correct.
