I had posted a similar request for assistance on justlinux.com, and received 
a horribly arrogant reply. Yours is rather more constructive - I appreciate 
that. It also now makes sense why the instructions I followed don't match 
those currently on the website!

I could post my saved copy of the webpage, but I guess that's no help.
