Could you tell me where those changes are available. I assume you're
talking about the speedtch.c kernel driver but where is it maintained
(apart from the kernel)?

It's a pity that info about this sort of amazing software is at
different locations. e.g. fc4 comes with a new firmware downloader. No
doc, source code = doc. I just discovered by reading bug reports of pppd
that problems with reconnecting and 'persist' option have been solved in
pppd 2.4.4b1. Same story: source = doc. I think some people are glad to
get those fixes.

Anyway, thanks for the support. It's nice to get this much out of that
silly hardware.
