I've followed this how to: http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/gentoo/index.html to get working my Alcatel Speedtouch 330 Rev.4 modem under Gentoo. I'm a Linux newbee so i can't resolve the error I get without help. I have 2 different errors: server ~ # /usr/sbin/pppd call speedtch Plugin pppoatm.so loaded. Using interface ppp0 Connect: ppp0 <--> 8.35 LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests Connection terminated.
