Hi,

I live in Yorkshire, England, UK.

I have a copy of red hat fedora linux version 2.6.5-1.358. I also use a
speedtouch 330 modem through USB with Wanadoo software via BT phone line.

I loaded speedtouch-1.3.1.tar.gz and it seems to have done all the
correct things and set up a directory called speedtouch in /etc/

I also unzipped speedtouch330_firmware_3012 and used VPI 0 and VCI 38
(if that is the right way round).

When I type "speedtouch-start" the modem flashes (left green led) for a
while then settles to on (the right led stays on all the time) and the
messages in the terminal window seem to indicate I have connected.

My problem is:

I cannot access the web/internet, when I type "mozilla" or another
browser and a web address I get the "can't find" message. Am I doing
something wrong?

Cheers

Tony Byrne
