I guess you have the last 330 SpeedTouch. You have a
problem in the br2684ctl program. Did you compile it? Or you downloaded it?
I had all types of problem when I tried to run the
ready-compiled version. Then I got the source code, I compiled it wth
gcc -o br2684ctl br2684ctl.c -latm
and run it
br2684ctl -c 0 -a -b 8.35
or whatever (the source has the instructions). It was a nightmare. Then I
copied the script and I run it manually, not within the boot. As the
program has timeouts, and the init program keeps running, you can have
problems. Run the dial program manually!! At least, during the debugging...
Of course, you must compile also the libatm.so
library. I didnt use ifup, but ifconfig -a, in order to see if the new
device nas0 has been created. Ah! I forgot: my ISP uses pppoe; yours may
not. And dont forget configuration of the kernel.
