You have to understand there is many many ways to make it work. To make short, you could use - modem_run and pppoa3 (in both PPPoA and PPPoE mode) - modem_run and kernel module speedtch ( with pppoatm or pppoe plugin or pppoe usermode) - with a 2.6 kernel module usbatm and speedtch ( with pppoatm or pppoe plugin or pppoe usermode) There is information to make it work on PPPoE (in old style modem_run/pppoa3) http://cosmos.oninetspeed.pt/jose.bernardo/speedtouch.html Or you could look at http://ipcop.cvs.sourceforge.net/ipcop/ipcop/src/rc.d/rc.alcatelusb?hideattic=0&revision=1.7.2.11&view=markup This is only the first part (configure the modem), start pppd is in another script in rc.red Gilles Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
