Certain, i wrote them down from SpeedTouch USB Diagnostics (RFC1483) output 
in WXP in connection tab. I'll give you all what was there :
VPI: 1
VCI :32
Type: RFC1483
Encapsulation: LLC
FCS: Auto
SDU Transmit: 4163
SDU Receive: 4193
Tx SDU Size: 1500
Rx SDU Size: 1500
This is what connection tab shows. What all is about?? f.e FCS: Auto??
Gilles the problem is that I'm new in Linux Mandriva and I don't know many 
thing sp. this stuffs related with modem and Internet. My last errors list 
was:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] Desktop]# pppd call speedtch
Plugin rp-pppoe.so loaded.
RP-PPPoE plugin version 3.3 compiled against pppd 2.4.3
Timeout waiting for PADO packets
Unable to complete PPPoE Discovery
